Happy Mother's day...
well... My mom and I, along with my babyb brother, went out to orchard yesterday to celebrate mother's day. Ate at a fancy Jap restuarant in Taka on the 4th floor. Cost me $150+. We ordered a sushi platter, and some other dishes. My mom refused to eat raw fish so we had an agreement that i would eat all the raw fish while she ate those cooked items. Turns out, the whole platter was made out of raw fish sushi. no unagi suhi or egg sushi. so i had to eat the whole platter. One word. Bloated...
Today, i went to Causway Point for movies and shopping. Saw 2 movies. "The Wild" and "Tiger Blade"... I cannot understand why "Tiger Blade" is M18. It is hardly a gory movie and the sexual scenes are at the first part and somewhere in the middle. In the first part. all you see is some girls naked back and some suggestive towel dropping meaning that the guy revealed his penis to some other guy in a gun fight... The second 'sex' scene is lame. It shows some guy raping a girl with all their clothes on. ._.'" It should be rated NC16. Hell! some NC16 shows have more explicit scenes...
And 'The Wild" reminds me so much of "Madagascar"...
Anyway, I was shopping in Causway Point and all the food outlets are FLOODED with people... Jack's Place to Crystal Jade to even Mac... And all around everybody was complaining about everything... EVERYTHING.... It made me wonder... Are we too spoilt... We live in luxury and we are not thankful... We thirst for more... and we think we qare so good everyone else is second class... Then i was reminded of an advice... By a friend in Secondary School who told me to stop being so mean to some people...
" Calling someone ugly doesn't make you anymore good looking, calling someone stupid doesn't make you any smarter, calling someone short doesn't make you any taller..."
And I shall end off with this food for thought... hope you all will grasp message... I got it....
